Here are a few pictures of the Spring Equinox as guests of Motley outside the ship at Cobham on 23rd March 2003 ******************************************************************* Our first craft fair of the year was at Thorpe Hall near Clacton on 29th March 2003, with possibly the roughest ground we've ever danced on. But the pub on the campsite was good. ******************************************************************* 3rd May 2003 the annual Rochester Sweeps Festival. Our chance to try and remember our Maypole dances. Not many pictures I'm afraid. ****************************************************************** End of May bank holiday was the venue for our 2nd craft fair of the year at Broadlands in Hampshire. The weather was changeable but we managed to get a few dances in, and even drag up 2 members of the public to join us. ********************************************************** The weather for our 3rd and final Craft Fair of the year at Headingham Castle, was scorching and the ladies felt it necessary to get their kits off !!! *********************************************************** On a warm summer evening in July we danced in the garden of the White Hart at Greenhithe with our guests; West Hill and Frog McIsland ! After a massed Shepherds Hay as the sun set over the Thames, we retired to the bar for a session. ************************************************************ Boughton Monchelsea's annual picnic at West Peckham is a great opportunity to see other sides, dance a little, eat a little and even drink a little ! *********************************************************** We danced, sang & played with our guests Kits Coty at The Malt Shovel Dartford. The landlord is friendly and doesn't object to a tune or 2 after the dancing. ************************************************************ In August we visited our friends in Bexley's twin town - Neheim. We danced with them in Bexley Platz. Even the local press captured our efforts (linguists out there can read what they said). They fed and entertained us in style but it proved too exhausting for some. ************************************************************ To my knowledge there are only a few photos of us dancing at Broadstairs - but dance we did and in that scorching heat.. phew !... in the evening we chilled...
